I was brought on during a crucial growth period for Opensports, a startup that prioritizes on simplifying the process of organizing and paying for local recreational sporting activities. I led the re-design of the mobile and web applications.
To start, we studied analytics of the current users on Opensports and created sets of user personas that matched our real users. Following this, we prioritized the main actions of the application, and simplified all the processes around it.
We created a design system that met the needs of the company as well as the users. We prioritized the experience, making it easier than ever to join pickup events.
